His Pritchard 3am Alarm Chili will clearly be the best out there. But he still needs your help.
It's $10 to get in. All you can eat chili. Beer is available. The Tech-Maryland game will be on at 4. And you get to hang out with the NEZ gang. What could be better???
And fear not, the bathrooms are fully stocked with toilet paper.
So...

As we finalize everything for the March Madness Madness Movie Quote Extravaganza, we're tinkering with some voting methods. So this is our test to make sure the poll will work. Please vote below.
It's been crazy here in the north today. My wife works in Dobbs Ferry, I work in White Plains, and we live in Rye. It takes about 20 minutes to get from Rye to Dobbs Ferry, on a slow day. Today at 5pm, it was blizzard conditions in Dobbs Ferry, two inches of slush in White Plains, and downpouring rain in Rye. Crazy shit going on here. Anyways, onto the Olympics.
Got some more medals today, and they were good ones. Our women got shut out by Canada in hockey and Julia Mancuso moved up ten spots in GS, but you get no medals for 8th place. BUT! we also got medals. These included:
Gold: Men's Nordic Combined Large Hill - Bill Demong
Silver: Women's Hockey
Men's Nordic Combined Large Hill - Johnny Spillane
Freestyle Skiing Men's Aerial - Jeret Peterson
No Bronze! Also, let it be known, Bill Demong's gold is the USA's first gold EVER in nordic combined. So this year we got our first medal in nordic combined and then we got our first gold medal. Look out Scandinavia. We're bringing it in Nordic sports, bitches.
Ok, so that game last night was pretty effing terrible. We lost by 20 to a school that couldn't get 1,000 people to show up to watch. It was like playing Seton Hall in Cancun. Except, you know, losing.
We'd like to offer more insight into what went wrong last night, but we decided that watching the best hockey game in the history of the sport was more entertaining than watching us shit the bed in an empty arena. That Russia-Canada game was pants-shittingly awesome.
But we're still ok! We still have two home games left, and one more chance to actually win on the road (gasp!). Unfortunately, the fact remains that we blew a big opportunity to get a road ACC win. And we didn't just lose; we were demolished.
So chill out until Saturday. Watch some curling. Drink some beer. It'll all be ok.
And even if it's not, drinking more beer will help the pain.
Those last two days were close. Germany was within three medals, but then Canada came in and shoved them off the podium and grabbed some more medals for themselves, all the while leaving us alone.
So basically the events have realyl trailed off and there aren't many medals getting handed out these days. That being said, we're still winning the ones that are. Just not the golds.
Over the last two days these are the people who are our most recent patriots:
Silver: Men's team large hill nordic combined - Todd Lodwick, Johnny Spillane, Bill Demong, Brett Camerota
Bronze: Women's two-(wo)man bobsleigh - Erin Pac and Elana Meyers
In addition to all of this, the women's hockey team play for gold against the Canadians, and the men advanced to the semifinals where they play someone other than Canada and Switzerland. Mainly because they just beat Switzerland and a Canada/USA final game will be EPIC. So the IOC won't blow their load just quite yet. The Candians beat the everloving shit out of the Ruskies last night, which makes you laugh at how far the North American countries have progressed in the winter Olympics. Used to be the communists and the Nords, but NO MORE. Another funny thing? The fact that before this year, the Canadians didn't have any gold medals on their home turf. Now they have 7. Crazy bastards.
Oh and another thing, Julia Mancuso is completely right. Lindsay Vonn ain't that hot, and she is basically viewed as the entire womens skiing team. And she completely fucked over Mancuso last night in the Giant Slalom by falling and then not getting back up even though she only broke her pinkie. Man up Vonn. Kick ass tonight Julia. Kick ass for America.
It's crunch time, kids. Four games remain. By our calculations, if we win three, we are dancing. Win two and we're close.
And a road win against BC would go a long way towards putting us over that bubble. We're not going to come right out and say this is a must win, but it is certainly a huge opportunity to prove ourselves on the road (something the tournament committee cherishes).
The last time we played the Eagles, we needed a last second bucket to win. It also led to a pretty epic weekend for your humble editor. (Once again, and I cannot stress this enough, do NOT drink a gorilla fart. My eyes are still crossed.)
We also went with Darkwing Duck the last time we played the Eagles. Our reasoning was that one badass bird could take out a bunch of pussy other birds.
Well, we don't like to reuse guys, since it tends to rarely work out. So we had to find another badass duck. Lucky for us there's...
So I was in Florida from Thursday to yesterday, and apologize for the...ahem... lack of Olympics updates from one, CGally. Anyways, since there was so much time lost, I will only be updating you on the medals we won on Monday the deuce deuce.
Silver: Pairs ice dancing - Meryl Davis and Charlie White
That's it. We got one friggin' medal yesterday. Zee Germans are creeping back up to our numbers, now only four medals behind. Our men's curling team is fucking TERRIBLE. John Shuster looks like Bobby the Ginger. And skips a curling team as well as Bobby rides bikes. And our bread and butter events are basically done.
However, our hockey teams are making a mockery out of the rest of the world. We beat the Canucks the other night, which was awesome, and are currently undefeated. And our women are undefeated and haven't won a game by less than 6 goals. They play Canada on Thursday to decide the gold medal. However, they are guaranteed a silver medal. Take that Russia.
Coach K: So I'm giving you a zj over there? Ref: Yeah, over there.
32.8% from the field. I'd like to blame last night's loss on the ridiculous referees, but shooting 32.8% will not win you many games. Since Duke shot even worse, the game was a lot closer than it should have been.
Hell, if we had shot 41% we'd probably have won. And we weren't just missing contested shots, either. We missed EVERYTHING. Wide open looks clanged off the back of the iron. Layups and putbacks wouldn't drop. Nothing was hitting.
Christ, we went 2 of 15 from behind the arc. Is that for real? 2 of 15?!?!
So in the end, we blew our shot at the top-25 and the lead in the ACC. We're still looking good for the tournament if we can take care of our home games.
But dammit, we freaking hate losing to Duke. Now we know how Canada feels...
Ever beat your older brother down Cherry Hill? All it takes is one time...
This is THE game, people. Win this, and the season is officially special. Shit just got real.
Sure, Duke has arguably the best collection of white basketball players in the country. But this rag-tag band of Hokies has the chance to shock the world and take first place in the ACC.
And in order to win, we're going to need help. We'll need to run faster and jump higher. And there's one man that knows how to do the impossible...
Well, we are just totally dominating these games. Wouldn't surprise us to see the US take down Canada in hockey, even. America, f*ck yeah.
Last night...
Evan Lysacek won the gold in Men's Figure Skating. People probably think this is a bigger deal than we think it is. That's what NBC told us, anyways.
Julia Mancuso won silver in the Women's Super Combined. She's super. That one hot skier was first after the downhill, but crashed in the slalom. We forgive her though. You know why.
Hannah Teter and and Kelly Clark(son?) won silver and bronze, respectively, in the women's halfpipe. After Shaun White's performance Wednesday night, this event seemed a little lackluster.
