We don't spend much time over at Rivals.com. That would count as "conducting research", which goes completely against The North End Zone's mission statement.

However, we were notified that they have announced their 2009 All-Bowl Team. The "team" includes coaches...

We hope you're sitting down...

Per Rivals.com:

BEST OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR: BRYAN STINESPRING, VIRGINIA TECH
Bowl: Chick-fil-A
The buzz: Virginia Tech put up 438 yards against a top-20 defense as the Hokies won 37-14 over Tennessee. Ryan Williams rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, and QB Tyrod Taylor was 10-of-17 for 209 yards.

Oh my...

We're not even really sure what to say right now. Seeing how it was NYE, your humble editor wasn't exactly in the best shape to comment on things like play calling or non-alcohol related things. We guess the numbers speak for themselves, but we figure a mop with a bucket for a head would be able to get RMFW over 100 yards.

So we guess... congrats?

At least we can say with 100% sincerity that we hope this award gets Voldemort that head coaching job he's been so desperately wanting.

So long as it's not in Blacksburg.

and yet the aforementioned rMFw, and his 117 yards and 2 TD's in 3 quarters of play, didn't make said team.

Didn't you read the quote??? It was only because of Voldemort's coaching!

Kind of a fluke-y game for RMFW, if you ask me. Certainly hasn't been that consistent all season...
