Whew, that was harsh.  Almost a full day not in front of the medal count.  Thankfully we kicked ass and took names today because we jumped the Germans and are out to a commanding 4 medal lead.  Here are the most Americanist people of the day:

Gold: Womens downhill - Lindsey Vonn

Men's snowboarding halfpipe - Shaun White (who fucking KILLED it)

Speedskating men's 1000m - Shani Davis

Silver: Women's downhill - Julia Mancuso

Bronze: Men's nowboarding halfpipe - Scotty Lago

Speedskating men's 1000m - Chad Hedrick
