UUUUUUUUUUUUUU SUCK.
How freaking awesome was that game? Almost as awesome as the last time we beat the Canes 31-7 in 2003? Yes. Pouring rain. A blocked punt. Sitting in the North End Zone. It was the perfect game. We’ll get into the team and all that later.
Right now, it’s time to take care of a few things…
-------------------------------
Dear Miami…

BAWHAHAHAHA!!! Swagger? We’ve got your swagger right here. Were people really talking about Jacory Harris as a Heisman hopeful? Was Miami really talked about as a National Championship contender? Can we just all agree that anyone that says anything about college football has no idea what they are talking about?* I mean, Todd McShay has a job talking about this stuff. That right there should be enough to discredit the entire analyst industry.

*We realize this includes your humble editor and the rest of our staff. If you think we know what we're talking about, you haven't read this blog much. Speaking of douchers on television…

-------------------------------
Dear ESPN…

If you didn’t notice, Virginia Tech won that game. Miami didn’t lose it. The Canes were taken to the freaking woodshed by a better team. A better team with better fans, I might add. So f*** everyone that gave any analysis after the game. F*** everyone that predicted Miami would even be in this game. We still own this conference.

-------------------------------

OMG WE BLOCKED A PUNT!! How awesome was that? It was so awesome that Poppa Gally immediately called me to tell everyone that he just won the predictions again. Specifically, he told Maniak to “suck it”.

Quotes of the weekend:
“It’s your responsibility to uphold the tradition of this program and this unit.” -Bud “Pimp-tastic” Foster, to the defense during practice all week.
“What does this look like, Free Taco Giveaway Shack?” –Taco Bell lady, when we drunkenly asked if we could have free tacos.
“Miami 24, Virginia Tech 21: Miami’s offense is more prolific, but Virginia Tech’s defense will at least slow the Canes down enough to make this a wildly entertaining and close game. If it were a night game, this might be a different pick, but the Canes are too calm, composed and confident to let a 3:30 p.m. crowd at Lane Stadium determine the outcome.” –Heather Dinich, ESPN. At least she got the "wildly entertaining" part correct.
“Last night, I threw up so hard my balls hurt.” – Anonymous, Sunday morning. RV trips are the BEST.

Well done sir. Well done.
