Wednesday Randomness and BBall Game 8
Written by C Gally

A lot has happened this week, including your humble editor still getting over about 18 hours of football this weekend. A prediction winner, a hero for tonight, and much more after the jump.

--------------------

First of, a bit of clean-up. We usually announce each week’s prediction winner before the next game. But since our annual drubbing of UVA ends each season, we need to give the props here.

B-Dubs replied to the wrong email thread and was left off the initial post. After an investigation was launched by the S7 division of the United States military, it was determined that his 42-14 prediction was valid.

However, for not following proper NEZ Prediction Protocol, Barry gets the shaft: a trip to the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl!!

At least it’s not in Idaho, Clemson.

--------------------

There’s no better timing than right now for this to come out about Tennessee (per Deadspin):

The New York Times has a verrrrry interesting story about an NCAA investigation at Tennessee, concerning recruiting "hostesses"—i.e., hot Tennessee co-eds who get quite friendly with talented high school football players.

Tech should probably get on board with this. There was no such treatment for high schoolers looking to be finance majors…

--------------------

Have you seen the new show on MTV called Jersey Shore? It’s exactly as awesome as you’d think.

--------------------

As the use of RMFW makes it way around the FaceTubes (and we couldn’t be prouder), we are in the process of possibly thinking about maybe doing a t-shirt. We have the design…

..just no idea if anyone is interested. Please drop us a line if you are. Enough people should get the price under $12 each.

Or if you own a t-shirt business and want to hook us up. We’d love you.

Speaking of RMFW, avid reader DougHed sent us this little gem:

God's work, right there.

--------------------

While we were out, Tech basketball picked up a big win against Georgia. Not that Georgia will light the world on fire this year, but any success against a decent out-of-conference opponent should be appreciated.

Tonight, we play in-state rival VMI. The last time we played the Fighting Lexingtonians, WE LOST. No joke. 2004, Tech lost to a second rate military school in basketball. How the hell can you recruit guys to a military school in Lexington, Virginia??

Anyways, we just need to take care of business tonight. And no one takes care of business like our man, Frank Bullitt.

bullit

Not many freaky cops like Bullitt around. You look at the Italian shoes and the turtleneck and you have to wonder. You listen to the official beefs about 'personal misconduct', 'disruptive influence', you figure he's got to be up for trade. But when some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give Bullitt the mop.

LET’S GO HOKIES!!

I just want to let everyone out there know that there may be better more designs coming for the t-shirts. CGally drew that one up in MSPaint.
