Bball Game 6: Iowa

Over the Thanksgiving break, our dreams of an undefeated season were dashed by a 61-50 loss to Temple. Dreams of actually making the tourney also seemed a bit much after it took overtime to beat Delaware.

But there's one way we can get back on track...

...and that is to beat some farmboys from Iowa.

The Hokies are heading out to the corn capital of the world tonight to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers of college sports.

Seriously, they aren't even trying to be different. (And yes, I went with Neil O'Donnell. Worst day of my childhood summed up in one picture.)

As for basketball? No one knows. It's the Big Ten, so they're probably lousy.

But Tech has had trouble with the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. We've only won once in the Challenge... against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Omen? Omen.

Luke Minor Hero of the Game

Clearly, today belongs to him...

Also, game is on ESPN2 at 9:30. If you don't tune in, you basically hate America.
